Glenn1990
I'm using the 'playtest' function within oblivion to access my cell directly from startup. found here: "C:\Users\Glenn\Documents\My Games\Oblivion.Oblivion.ini" I added my .esp as a test file and my cell as a starting cell. However it seems that every time I move the models so my character spawns onto a walkable surface, when I add more models and make it bigger, the spawn location changes and he falls through the floor. Can anyone tell me how i can tell where a character is going to spawn when using the test function?

I could never get the test function to work properly for me =/ although I never asked anyone else about it so someone else might be able to help you. I usually just place a coc marker and use the console to zip straight to my cell after loading.
David Brasher
When teleporting to an interior cell, it takes you to an X marker or an X marker heading. So if you cell doesn't have any of those, there is no telling where you will teleport to. In a similar issue, if a cell is not path-gridded, actors won't spawn in the right spot and might fall through the floor to the void in the bottom of a cell. I have not personally used the play-test function you describe because it seems like there are other easier, more natural ways to do it that involve less hassle.
