Cerest
I love DoTs... most of the time. During the early game I spend all my time running around, buying and snipping ingredients. However, I find that whenever I use these DoTs (damage health, fire damage... etc), whether it be spell or potion, if the DoT kills the individual, I do not get credit for it. For instance, I was snooping around Pell's Gate. Wanting to join the Dark Brotherhood, poison an arrow and shoot someone. The shot was weak and only took off a sliver of health, but the poison did the rest. But, I did not get the murder count. I did not get a "Someone was watching you..." message. (I checked this again when I slept). So I reloaded and killed the same person with solely a bow, no enchantments, no potions, no fancy unicorns... only then did I get the kill count. Is there a mod that modifies that behavior so that I can get the kill count for poison? For reference, "http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Poison"Poisons are not considered to originate with the player (or whoever used the poison). Killing someone with poison does not count as murder--as far as the witnesses are concerned, the victim had a heart attack and died.
