I just downloaded a gun mod for oblivion and the sounds arent that great. How can i go about replacing the sound file for it? Ive thought about just getting my own file in the right format, and replacing the one relevant to the weapon, but i cant find the file for it. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I've seen the directory for the sound file in particular, it says oblivion/data/sound/fx. However I cannot see such folder, despite having hidden folders visisble. Can anyone help? d4em Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Try re-downloading the mod, searching for the sound file before extracting it to your data folder, and replacing it in the uninstalled mod. Then install as normal, or delete everything but the replaced sound file (and all folders related to it's path) and then put that in your data folder.
