Xer089 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Share Posted April 5, 2011 A tip when you're troubleshooting commonly overwritten files like skeleton.nif is to carefully compare the file Size and Date Modified fields using Windows Explorer. You'll need to switch the View menu option in Windows Explorer to Details. I have all my installed mods extracted into their own folder, in part as backup and also as a troubleshooting resource. Hard drive space is cheap. i did this but only with the meshes, textures etc. i never thought to check the skeleton.nif for some reason. i randomly noticed the file size was a lot smaller than what it was before i installed DR6 and UV.
