Frankii09
Just wanted to know what mods people would recommend that actually make the game better rather than cluttering the game and pc with all sorts of things that only get used once or twice. Some I would recommend would be: Natural EnvironmentsBank of CyrodiilClocks of CyrodiilLet the People DrinkIllumination within/without I've found these mods really useful or make Cyrodiil a better looking place. So say what mods you've played with that you use all the time: stuff like texture packs or anything that makes the vanilla oblivion game better or animation changes like deadly reflexes. Cheers! Telyn
I am not sure if you are looking for just outdoor/environmental textures, but am including some others just in case. You might not have seen Cooked Steaks, but if steak tartare is starting to lose its appeal, this small mod makes a big difference:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17360Alluring Potion Bottles v3 (or the OOO version if you use that), because magic should look magical:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=33531Real Lava, because liquid lava is beautiful:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6854Mythic Animals and Mythic Creatures:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29638http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29569Koldorns LOD Noise replacer, makes even vanilla look much better:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9952More Vegetables, not only adds interest but adds alchemical ingredients:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11459Improved Doors and Flora: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8298then I installed: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8500and then: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11891You need all 3 to get the full effect. A couple you might feel aren't worth it, but I won't play without: Autumn Trees http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36561 Better Meat-Hammy McHamham Edition http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17869That's right. All it does is change cooked ham. That's it. But WOW does it do a good job. Most realistic texture replacer I have ever seen for Oblivion, period. Improved Amulets and Rings, because it beats yellow and green plastic jewellry : http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17147
