Dophin2009
I think that cooking in Skyrim is oversimplified. The minimal of ingredients can create soups and steaks. There should be cutting boards, stoves, heaters and such. More spices, ingredients, drinks that aren't alcohol like juice, and others. There should also be a provisioning perk tree, that dictates how effective the food is, or if you have Realistic Needs and Diseases, how big of a meal it is, how much thirst it quenches, or maybe if it keeps you more awake. I doubt there is already a mod like this, but correct me if I'm wrong, and if there isn't it'd be awesome if someone could make it.
Fenryr3001
Well, you would have to sacrifice another skill-tree for the cooking tree, and with the more complex crafting system.....smithing first.
Dophin2009
Can you not add a skill tree? Am I asking a really stupid question?
Dophin2009
perhaps you could add a new branch to the alchemy tree?
Fenryr3001
The only thing you can do is rename them and change the perks.A Alchemy branch would be possible, but reduce the compatibility with perk overhauls, unless a patch is made of course. And,like I said,I think the incentive of the community would be doing that to smithing first.
