Newvegasrecon
Alright, so to the person who helped me with my last problem, ty. I managed to get New Vegas working. But I have one more problem. When trying to install some epictastic mods, I was informed that the mod "needed a script to run" so I found out I needed NVSE. Unfortunately, I have no clue how to install it correctly. Can I just run it through FOMM like the rest of my mods? All help appreciated.
rickerhk
You can't install it with FOMM - FOMM will put it in the wrong place. Download the NVSE zip file to your download folder, then unzip it. Browse to inside the folder that was unzipped - nvse_1_beta7 - Copy all of the files in there to your Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\ directory. enlo
you could have read the install instruction... you know, people don't write those for fun :geek:  http://nvse.silverlock.org/ Installation1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Fallout NV directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\. If you see files named FalloutNV.exe and FalloutNVLauncher.exe, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod.2. Launch NV as you normally would via Steam (or FOMM). Note that the "Enable Steam Community In-Game" option must be enabled in the "In-Game" tab of the Steam options for NVSE to work correctly. On a hunch, I tried to open nvse's executable, only to be told Fallout New Vegas could not be found. And yes, I got bored and set the Hexadecimal color m'self. But that is irrelevant. Advice?
