Green Shader

I loathe asking for help, but nothing else is working, so I am calling upon you, the great and experienced forum-goers, modders, and players of this esteemed site, for help. After an aggressive Archieve invalidation mix up that forced me to uninstall and then reinstall Oblivion, I noticed just a little after installing Martigen's Monster Mod, that some first person files from Deadly Reflex 6 came back after I thought I got rid of... well... EVERY file pertaining to Oblivion. With this first person animations (not a problem, but I can't find them so I can't see if the files are hiding together) came this nasty Green Shader that looks like the poison shader just a little brighter. The green film as I've come to call it, typically starts after and NPC receives damage equal to about fifty percent of their health and stays permenantly after death. This film isn't game breaking, doesn't cause crashes or even FPS lag, it's just incredibly annoying. I'd like to thank anyone who can help me with this in advance, and if this is somewhere else in the forums I apologize for taking up space here.

I think I read a topic about someone with a similar problem. It turned out that they were missing textures (or maybe it was meshes) for blood splatter. Sorry if that's not your problem, I don't run many mods at all so I have no experience with what it might be.

Are you using Reneer's Corpse Mod by any chance? There's a well-known "green film on corpse" bug associated with that mod. I don't know if it's the same thing since it sounds like your green stuff is showing up even before the actor dies, but you might want to check out some threads on that bug and see if it's in any way related.

No, I don't have that mod, thank you though. Also to FG109, I honestly hadn't thought of that, I'll check it out thank you.

EDIT: No luck with that.

I realize this is a double post, but I found the problem AND fixed it, I want to thank everyone for their suggestions on what to do, and I also want to thank a moderator for promptly deleting this (unless it is needed for archieval reasons of course).

Please, if you make a post like that, ADD YOUR SOLUTION. Don't just say "I fixed it, thanks!" and disappear. Someone else might have the same problem, use the search option, find this thread and end up empty handed.

Mkay, it was a mixture of correct load order issues (maybe, not a hundred percent sure on that), as well as files in the Oblivion Mod Manager's Virtual store. I simply deleted all the Deadly Reflex files (since I stopped using it and the problem still occured). If you're trying to fix it with Deadly Reflex on, you could probably just return files from OBMM's virtual store and reinstall Deadly Reflex.

There, better?
