MaximumPain
I've nearly finished an add-on to my Fort Dawnguard mod which creates a better Dayspring Canyon entrance. All I need to do is move the two AutoLoadDoor01 activators, un-link them and re-link them when they are in the new position. The issue I'm having is that I want to move the AutoLoadDoor01 activator on the Riften side down the road to the near the border gate but whatever I do the activator stays at its original location and only the door marker moves to the new location. i'm assuming the original AutoLoadDoor01 activator info is saved in the saved game.I could create two new activators, one at the Riften side and and the in Dayspring Canyon but the original 'doors' are referenced by quests DLC1VQ01MiscObjective and DLC1HunterBaseIntro. Any Ideas? Edited September 14, 2015 by MaximumPain
skinnytecboy
Duplicate sounds like the way to go. Perhaps if you place your door slightly forward, so that only yours is activated whilst your mod is installed?
MaximumPain
The problem with creating new doors is that the old ones are used by the two quests I mentioned earlier. If I 'Initially Disable' the old ones I'll have to edit the two quests so they reference the new doors which means if there are any changes to these quests in the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch they will not be carried over and may conflict with Even Better Quest Objectives etc.Edit: I've just tested the door activator with an old save which I had never been in the cells in question and the problem is still there so I guess that means that the activator not moving in the game has nothing to do with saved games. This may all be something to do with that these 'doors' are persistent and referenced by quests. I don't know.
