kamimaia
PAAAAANTS! If some kind-hearted Samaritan would feel gracious enough to give me some *censored* pants, I would be most grateful. Try as I might, I have been unable to find this perfect idea for a pair of pants: The lower half (No top, as I use Tailor Maid for my idea of a perfect top) of Type3 'Brief'-style leather armor, kept as the re-textured black, fitted to use the 'neck' slot if possible and not glitchy (even though its placed on the legs), fitted for the Type3 Berry body (If possible and easy).http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39598 <--The armor in question. Original creator has it listed as usable, if I read it correctly. (Free to use, modify, or adapt for your own purposes, just a mention in the credits is all I ask.) Stats of:Name: PANTSValue: 100 caps maxWeight: 2 lbsDT: 2Leather Armor durability+10 to Unarmed+5% to Run Speed (if possible and easy) Placed in: Goodsprings, somewhere, possibly Doc Mitchell's. Don't honestly care, so long as I can nab the thing on a fresh run without sprinting my way to Vegas (or out of town for that matter).World textures: Don't care if it looks like a plasma pistol when you put it on the ground, so long as it doesn't give me an error mark. I have a habit of accidentally dropping things. I'm sure others do too. The person who makes this happen will have my unending adoration and love, and potentially the same from others who desire a TRULY AWESOME PAIR OF PANTS! MY GIRL NEEDS PAAAAAAAAAAAAANTS! kamimaia
Just went in and tried it- everything goes off without a hitch, except the mesh/textures don't actually appear on the body. Character is nekkers when wearing the PANTS. Was something misplaced in the .esp, do you think? Or am I doing something wrong? (OWAIT. Maybe I need to install the original leathers too. One sec.) kamimaia
Figured out what happened- apparently the meshes/textures are actually misplaced somehow. This ends up happening when you are a specific place from a certain wall: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=11968 If you move closer or away from that wall it disappears entirely. No idea how you could fix this... wish I did. Edited April 10, 2011 by kamimaia
Dreugo
it appears that while the are being equiped it isnt being read correctly so they arent being used as intended i.e. we get the floating pants. every couple of steps.

Possibly because of the neck slot attribute? Maybe? Might try switching it to a 'belt' slot? Edited April 10, 2011 by kamimaia
