Kaya47
Hello! I`m currently working on a double barrel shotgun and i set it to double discharge (In GECK i set Ammo Use to 2). Everything is working well except the number of casing shells. They are supposed to be two but it ejects only one. My question is how could i set it to two? I tried to clone the ShellCasingNode but without effect. Any suggestions? My shotgun is similar to Hunting Shotgun Edited April 7, 2011 by Kaya47
SpeedyB64
The only way to add more shells is to add another shell to the shell nif file.
Kaya47
Doubling the shells in the nif file? I already tried that but looks weird. Both ejected shells look attached one by another. If this is the only way than i`ll have to stick to only one shell
Riven1978
well i would assume (haven't messed with this exact thing) but if you have two shell casings you would have to add another "path" for it to follow out of the gun. I am only guessing that it would need another animation added to it for the other shell casing so they don't go out at the same trajectory at the same time? SpeedyB64
Each shell needs its own collision mesh. Take a look at the exploded fire extinguisher model, it has several separate parts with independent collision.
