KazFoxsen
I copied an NPC to experiment with, but when I try to delete it in the Object Window, it's still there, except it has an object count of 0 D. I didn't put it in any cells or anything, so why won't it disappear? I've had similar issues trying to delete a quest and its topics.
Floatsup
Save and exit, re-open geck should be all you have to do. And get FNVEdit
angelwraith
as stated while geck is ope items are marked for delete but not removed from the editor. the editor must be restarted to remedy this issue.

tunaisafish
It sounds like you've deleted something that was not part of your own esp package. If it was in your package then reopening the GECK would have solved the issue as Floatsup & angelwraith said. As far as I know you can't undelete a delete within the GECK. But FNVEdit is your friend here. It's always a good idea to look at your esp with FNVEdit, you may be surprised at the other resources you've accidentally edited. KazFoxsen
Thanks guys. Turns out the NPC was made in an earlier file of mine (an esp converted into an esm due to the mismatched-body problem), which is linked to my new esp. Just deleted it from each file in FNVEdit.
