lucen15
So i want to convert some armors to 7base my issue is that i cant find the meshes, textures or anything from the vanilla game, right now i asume that i need some third party program. all i need to know is where i can find the vanilla armours, i have already moded several other armours for personal use so i am familiar with the process, at least with bodyslide and outfit studio. I would be happy to use another program if thats what it would take to mod vanilla armours.
KunoMochi
The meshes for vanilla armor should be in the Data folder. They are archived in a file called Skyrim - Meshes.bsa. You will need to have a program that'll help extract BSA files so you can get at those meshes. You can use either the BSA Browser, BSAopt, or BSAExtractor for those needs. :) Personally, I use BSAopt because it allows me to archive it back. The CK can archive your files for you but some things like custom faces tend to be left out by it. The BSAExtractor stated that he might implement a packing feature in a future release.
