TheGentleWhiteWolf
First off, I'm a complete noob to modding. I just started modding my Skyrim yesterday. I need the help of an expert modder or someone who knows how to competently mod Skyrim (because it's becoming increasingly obvious I'm not doing too well ). Let's start off with what I'm using.I'm on a PC that runs on Windows 8. I use the Nexus Mod Manager to install mods into Skyrim. I also launch Skyrim with the SKSE version 1.7.3. Now let's go into the mods I've downloaded and installed related to this topic.I have Calientes Beautiful Bodies Edition -CBBE- version 3.4f, Caliente's Vanilla Outfits for CBBE version 2.1.1, RaceMenu version 3.3.0, and BodySlide 2 and Outfit Studio version 2.7h. Finally, the issue. The sliders for CBBE Morph in RaceMenu will not change a thing on my character. No bigger or smaller breasts, arms, butt... no nothing. I've re-installed multiple times and in multiple different orders and still no change. I've checked the CBBE RaceMenu BodySlide and the Use CBBE Body box when the finish install window appears for BodySlide 2, and checked the Bodyslide option for both CBBE and CBBE Vanilla Outfits. I've even downloaded Mod Organizer, run BodySlide.exe and checked the RaceMenu option box at the bottom, and still no change! I also can not run BodySlide.exe with anything other than Mod Organizer. The file is in a 7z file and whenever I extract it's contents (with 7zip or winrar) it just spews a bunch of folders onto my desktop and the .exe is a blank black box kind of like this box I'm typing in. Things that could contribute to the sliders not working. (Basically me guessing)1. When I load into my save file for Skyrim an error box appears telling me, "RaceMenu Error(s): Invalid CharGen plugin version detected (2) expected (3)". So I download the CharGen Exstension mod. I download and install CharGen Core version 2-5-0 and CharGen Morphs version 2-1-4. I also did not update CharGen Morphs when prompted so as to run both CharGen Core and Morphs together. When I re-load my save, it gives me the same error message. I also happen to notice that CharGen Extension is lined out on The RaceMenu Page under Requirements for some reason. I also read that the latest version of RaceMenu already comes with the CharGen extension. This makes no sense because of the error messages I keep getting in-game. Eventually I unistalled CharGen from my game and still the error message appears. 2. The user account I am on on this PC is not the administrator. I could not download Mod Organizer with out running it as administrator as well as BodySlide.exe. Otherwise I'd get an installation error for Mod Organizer, and as I've said before, I can not run BodySlide.exe without Mod Organizer thus I have to run that too as administrator. I've been trying to fix this problem for over 5 hours and I'm starting to flip tables. I've researched as much as I could, I've done as much as I could, and I understand that I may have installed things improperly (that's more frustrating because I don't know where I may have messed up). So any advice on how to fix this or a detailed step by step guide, and I mean DETAILED like every single little step no matter how obvious it is must be stated kind of guide, would be extremely helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
ZelenEagle
You need to (practically everything) run as an administrator so that helps with extra programsFor bodyslide you said you use NMM for everything, so when installing CBBE through NMM you should have gotten the option to install it from there, just do that then go to your steam folder then open these: SteamApps>common>skyrim>data>CalienteTools and Bodyslide.exe should be in thereFor the racemenu i've had the same problem for some time with the CharGen, i think i fixed it with XPMSE, wich is a skeleton for your character (installing this may also fix the problem with your sliders) the mod page of it is here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000/? if you install that mod correctly it should probably fix those problems (if you need help with that mod just ask)
TheGentleWhiteWolf
Thank you for helping me find the .exe! But now I'm faced with another problem... The BodySlide.exe window is essentially blank. The drop down options are blank and the small preview button, big preview button, batch build button and build button don't do anything when clicked. The window has no scales, slides, or anything in it.
ZelenEagle
did you remove the .exe from the folder? because everything needs to stay in that folder for it to work

TheGentleWhiteWolf
Okay, so here is how I did it. I hope this helps anyone who has a similar issue with BodySlider. Before anything, and I mean anything, make sure you're PC account is running on the administration account. This is the only way I got this mod to work so I highly stress that you have an administrator account. Also make sure you have the latest version of SKSE for Skyrim and DO NOT install any CharGen extentions, plug-ins, nothing. Delete that mod if you have it.1st, I uninstalled all my mods on the Nexus Mod Manager. You can simply do this by clicking on the wrench and screwdriver symbol at the top of the window and clicking on "Uninstall all active mods".2nd, I deleted RaceMenu and then reinstalled it making absolutely sure I have the newest up to date version.3rd, I then proceeded to install RaceMenu as the only active mod in my game thus far; no other mods are installed and activated at this time. Not even BodySlide.4th, I launched SKSE in the Nexus Mod Manager. To do this click on the down arrow beside "Launch Skyrim" at the top left corner of the NMM window and click on "Launch SKSE". Load a save file or start a new game and you shouldn't see the RaceMenu error pop-up. If you do, I'm sorry, I don't know any other way to fix it.5th, I then installed BodySlide. Make sure you have the latest version installed.6th, I installed my body mods and clothes that are compatible with BodySlide and Outfit Studio. Make sure to check the "Use in BodySlide" box if it is presented during installation. Personally I have the CBBE body mesh, and CBBE vanilla clothes mod.7th, I navigated to BodySlide.exe. Go to Program Files (x86)>Steam>steamapps>common>Skyrim>Data>CalienteTools>BodySlide. You should find the .exe in this folder.8th, I opened BodySlide.exe. I clicked on the pull down menu for "Outfit/Body" and choose the body mesh I am using (CBBE Body). Then I clicked on the drop down menu for "Preset" and choose my body mesh's preset (CBBE Curvy). Then I checked the "RaceMenu Morphs" box at the bottom of the window and clicked on "Build".9th, I clicked the drop down menu on the "Group Finder" and selected the armor mod I'm using. I made sure the RaceMenu Morph box is always checked, then I clicked on the drop down menu for "Outfit/Body" and selected the armor I wanted to modify. Then I clicked on "Batch Build" and "Build" in that window. After, I clicked on "Build" in the bodyslide.exe window. 10th, Finally I launched SKSE again, loaded a save file, made sure the clothes my character was wearing is the one I selected in bodyslide.exe, opened RaceMenu, and played around with the CBBE morph sliders. Hopefully this tutorial helped to fix your problem.
Soulbringer1
I cant get it to work in game or out of the game. Followed all the directions, downloaded all the extra crap that they said to also. the thing opens up. the sliders slide but there is no effect on the Body. i uninstalled and am going to reinstall manually this time. NMM has been messing things up alot lately. I think something installed wrong. The tools work great with FO 4. I made some crazy alterations for that game. thank you for the tips tho anyway. I will Let you know how it turns out.
