dimetime35c
im looking for something thats got the look of the traditional gunslinger but kinda modern kinda a combo of those two. like the duster and chest from the top on and then the pants boots and belt from the bottom one. the head piece can just be the standard ranger helmet maybe recolored to have black with red lenses in the eyes. finally if you could do it so there are gloves with the mod that would be awesome! i cant find any mods that fit the look im wanting. o forgot to mention id like the main colors of the outfit to be black for the duster and the pants and then the belt done brown with the gold buckle and the holsters done brown. gloves done black or brown and the shirt under the duster can be black or whatever color you think looks best. thanks to anyone that makes this. o last thing i want the coat to cover most of the arms so theres no skin gap between the gloves and the collar of the sleeves. flamenx01
How about the black coat from this mod?http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36154/?
devinpatterson
Ginger9's gunslinger outfit has open permissions IIRC, so teh bottom half is easy. As far as the bandoleers, the ones I looked over from vanilla assets don't look like they will fit the part. One could make one, useing part of a simple ammo belt layered over the chest.....since there's really only a small amount exposed via the open duster. Dimetime35c are you willing to use the ranger duster with the wrapped bracers on the forearm? If not you might need to track down a suitable duster. devinpatterson
like the black duster from the mod flamenx01 suggested. Yep, same model, just a re-texture. Sounds like what you want can be acomplished with existing assets, and is do-able. I'll leave you and flamenx01 to work out the details as well as cobble the model together. dimetime35c
dimetime35c what DLCs do you have? Just so I know which I am allowed to use parts from. ive got all of them, and quite a few mods. o if its not to much trouble could you maybe also mod me a over powered shotgun???? ive tried messing with some in geck and have no idea what im doing. im trying to go for like traditional wild west weapons like the shotgun, revolvers, repeating rifles and so on. just have them be like instakills though. o forgot to add to the get up you can use the recon advanced black helmet you get in helios 1 lucky old sun mission. i really like that look. o and if possible can you make this set like super op???? like resistant to most damage as i dont wanna have this awesome armor that im afraid to use as i dont want to break it. That's good to know. I've already started working on the armor (still to do the coat): http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t407/Flamenx01/Gunslinger_zpswexlz6mc.png Changing weapon and armor stats should really be something you do yourself since everyone has their own idea of how their game should play and it will mean that you don't need to rely on others to balance your game. There are tonnes of video tutorials on the web (just search "changing weapon stats GECK") that will tell you how to do this plus it is really easy to do even for novice users. DUDE!!!!!!!!! thats perfect!!!!!!!!!! wow just wow. maybe change the boots to black or more cowboy looking would make it look even better. ive looked at the tutorials and i dont understand any of this:( how do i make it so only one weapon is changed and not every weapon in the game??? how do i get said weapon into my inventory???? how do i make it so npcs cant pick it up??? i went into the geck and my screen looked totally different from the ones in the videos. i didnt have any of the interiors or any file. i really want to learn how to mod things but all the videos kinda feel like they leave the most basic info out assuming that the person knows it already and that doesnt help me at all. would you know of any like written guides to geck that would basically with pictures walk you through step by step on how to use it???? o forgot to say maybe tweak the undershirt color a bit. you have all this dark color then suddenly white it kinda draws your eye right to it. idk how much youll see with the coat on it but thats just my only like concern. other then that its better then i could have imagined!!!! i really wanna learn how to do mods so i can make things like that to!!!!!! Sure I'll play around with the colours a bit. I watched several video tutorials and found this one that seems really good for pure beginners (start with the first one): There really isn't that many good text tutorials specifically for amor and weapons.GECK wiki has what everything in GECK dones but it isn't really the clearest thing in the world. The video tutorials cover everything but the important things to remember in GECK is:1. when ever you launch GECK you need to go to open then select mods you want your mod to require (DLCs etc) you need to make sure to select FalloutNV.esm otherwise it will load nothing.2. To make a new unique version of a item you need to change it's form id. Edited September 27, 2015 by flamenx01
