DUDE!!!!!!!!! thats perfect!!!!!!!!!! wow just wow. maybe change the boots to black or more cowboy looking would make it look even better. ive looked at the tutorials and i dont understand any of this:( how do i make it so only one weapon is changed and not every weapon in the game??? how do i get said weapon into my inventory???? how do i make it so npcs cant pick it up??? i went into the geck and my screen looked totally different from the ones in the videos. i didnt have any of the interiors or any file. i really want to learn how to mod things but all the videos kinda feel like they leave the most basic info out assuming that the person knows it already and that doesnt help me at all. would you know of any like written guides to geck that would basically with pictures walk you through step by step on how to use it???? o forgot to say maybe tweak the undershirt color a bit. you have all this dark color then suddenly white it kinda draws your eye right to it. idk how much youll see with the coat on it but thats just my only like concern. other then that its better then i could have imagined!!!! i really wanna learn how to do mods so i can make things like that to!!!!!!

Sure I'll play around with the colours a bit.

I watched several video tutorials and found this one that seems really good for pure beginners (start with the first one):

There really isn't that many good text tutorials specifically for amor and weapons.

GECK wiki has what everything in GECK dones but it isn't really the clearest thing in the world.

The video tutorials cover everything but the important things to remember in GECK is:

1. when ever you launch GECK you need to go to open then select mods you want your mod to require (DLCs etc) you need to make sure to select FalloutNV.esm otherwise it will load nothing.

2. To make a new unique version of a item you need to change it's form id.

okay i did that but when i open the files i had everything checked and it was saying something like incorrect path or something. i then turned off all the dlc and mod .esm that i had and only checked the falloutnv.esm and it worked then?? i found a video that actually helped a lot but im still unsure about how to add the weapon into the game???? like i dont understand why you need to place it somewhere?? cant i just add it directly into my inventory??? also how do i make sure the thing doesnt fall through the world??? like im unable to find certian added guns and my only guess is that sense i have vsync turned off that somehow when there placed down or something they will fly off into the nether sense the physics is kinda messed up from the unlocked frame rate.

oh it's been so long I forgot about something:

To load multiple masters (more than one mod), go into your GECKCustom.INI (in my documents/ my games/ fallout nv) and change bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=0 to bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1

You can place items into the player inventory but it take actually quite a bit of script work: http://bsnooch.com/forums/index.php?topic=298.0
Usually what I do is create a new container (box) then put the item in the box then place the box in the world that way they are effected by physics.

anyway I got the coat done:

I still need to check how well it works in game and make any mesh fixes

HOLY s#*! thats so good dude!!!!!! only question is would you need to make gloves as part of the set or are they separate? i cant remember if your able to get like accessories like gloves or if they are always part of the shirt. only thing i can think of to add would be spurs on the boots but thats not really needed. you can either use the default ranger helmet recolored black or i think theres the ranger advanced recon helmet that comes in black standard. if so only thing it needs is the red lenses for the eyes and its good to go.

Gloves are done as a armor addon so I add them in GECK. There already are spurs on the boots you just can't see them at this angle. I'll test it and add the helmet tomorrow.
