GoldenAngelHeart
What's the point of the DAI Tool Suite? I can't seem to figure it out. When I open it, it gives me some application error and is empty. There isn't an option that would let me click ModManager. Is it something that is required to use the Mods? Plus there is no launch button. There is a download all button, but no launch button. Then there is this error that I am getting from the ModManager: [9/30/2015 8:48 AM] Task failed. Error reported was: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. You probably have the wrong version. Here's the latest version: http://daitools.freeforums.org/latest-version-announcement-t1060.html You have to have DAI tools suite, as it's the only way to get the latest version of ModManager. When you have it downloaded, unzip it in its own folder and click the executable to start it.It should look like this: http://snag.gy/VPbvN.jpg I have that one now but still confused as how to use it properly. It's getting to be frustrating, to be honest.
kadust
I made some photos. Everything in the color red is added by me. 1. Click Mod Manager v.1.0 from the list so it gets marked like in the picture.2. Click Launch (if you do not have it installed click Download first and then click Launch when it's finished downloading).http://i.imgur.com/PXJgWnW.png After clicking launch, the Mod Manager window appears.Note that if you haven't opened it before, the first thing you'll get is a prompt to locate your Dragon Age Inquisition.exe file. Just browse to it and click open, then this window will appear.1. Click Browse next to the blank Mod Path, like shown in the picture. Find your DAI mods folder and click open. You'll be returned to this window again with mods showing up in the list as shown below.2. Click merge.http://i.imgur.com/imKU8OM.png
GoldenAngelHeart
I clicked download and it gave me a huge error message. Can it be fixed? See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text **************System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib, Version=0.86.0.518, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=1b03e6acf1164f73' or one of its dependencies. kadust
It can be because you don't have DAI tools files in a separate folder. You have them in Documents, but you have to unzip DAI tools suite in its own folder. Try that first and see if it still happens. I was getting this error too when i didnt have DAI tools suite in its own folder. Edited September 30, 2015 by kadust
kadust
Remember that you need all the files that comes with DAI tools suite to be in the same folder. So i'd just create a folder "DAI tools suite" and re-download the suite from the link i provided earlier and unzip the contents in your newly created folder.
