Hello people here at Nexus Forums, I commonly have been solving my own issues but now I'm finally on a problem that has me stumped on where I've made a mistake. I do believe more than anything else it is me having inexperience with my load order's contents, their compatibility and their organization as I've just ran LOOT and not done much else. I say this because in my load order below I run just under if not 200 mods and have made sure to clean the ones that had undeleted references and records identical to masters and even went to the lengths of sorting masters for orange mods on my Wrye Bash. When it comes to hardware, this is a relatively new rig with a Intel i5 4790k Processor (underclocked because I want to bleed the stone dry and such), Geforce GTX 980 Video Card, and 8GB RAM. Skyrim, SKSE, LOOT and NMM are all up-to-date, Fores New Idles has been ran with its fix, and Automatic Variants as well as Reproccer have had their java patchers dealt with to boot as these were my first guesses to fixing this. Even though I have encountered over 20 bandits already within the two games I have started with no issues, I just have to get to this one female caster bandit in Fort Amol up some stairs, she gets up and then the game crashes. To me this seems to be an equipping issue, as it happens just when the bandits will pull their inventory out from that inter-dimensional knapsack they all use. I have already tried experiments with my equipping mods. I really worry about this conflict because I wonder how many more characters will end up with this error and keep causing me unavoidable grief and not being able to explore all of the world. At this point it isn't like I will quit experimenting, but if anybody here has experience with these issues I would be EVER most grateful to you for giving me information that could lead to a solution.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is the bandit is equipping a weapon or whatever that isn't in your mods anymore. Like you took out a mod with a weapon that the game says he has in his inventory.

There is a mod I found called mfg console http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/? What you could try is using this mod to see what his inventory is before he draws a weapon (you can also use the console commands turn off the NPC AI so he doesn't attack you) and maybe you can figure out what he is drawing that is causing the crash.

Hope that helps some

Okay, well I keep giving those weapon mods an inspection, thanks!

Alright well, I went ahead and completely reinstalled Skyrim and cut down my overall mods as some I just wasn't really fond of anymore, in doing so I DID find a bunch of them were outdated or completely done with support. My guess is one of those was the culprit, anyway I will keep on playing and see if the problem shows up again.

Alright, well playing again with a re-forged build, I found that the cause was a sound effect that caused a crash from Audio Overhaul for Skyrim! Now I'm making absolutely sure between whether or not it was the core mod or its set of patches I installed with it. Either way for people rolling through here just remember to be careful with Audio Overhaul and mayhaps you won't suffer the same fate!
