jameswholahan Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 I am trying to get Alawen to train me - yes I have the elven bow and elven arrows. There is no option for me to ask her to train me. What gives?

What gives? That happened to me to. I think the problem is that we're not asking at the right times. The "raident" AI makes it wo that the NPCs won't perform services at certain times (ex. when they're sleeping peacefuly in their beds). I gave up an Alawen because she would always run off and get killed. Anyone who knows otherwise should say so because I would like to know if I was wrong here. Marksman is one of my major skills.

I am trying to get her to train during the day, while she's awake. I have tried several times during the day. I was thinking that maybe one of the other trainers must refer me to her - otherwise you have no clue that you need an elven bow. I will try to hunt down other trainers and ask. During normal gameplay(without cheating) how would you know that she is even there to train? Which character in the games tells you about her? That might be a clue right there.
Abramul Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Same source.1. Speak to one of the advanced trainers about "Training" once you have a skill level of 70 (this includes temporary boosting). 2. The advanced trainer will tell you the name of the master trainer, and a training quest will appear in your journal. 3. Find the master trainer (some of them are in remote locations). 4. Accomplish a mini-quest (or have already met some specified requirements) to qualify for training; these quests are detailed below. 5. The training icon will now appear in the master trainer's dialogue options.
