seedy Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 I'm guessing some mod has bugged gweden farm (the siren's deception quest) because whenever i enter, the game crashes to desktop and tries to send stuff to microsoft. I have tried turning off all my mods but no luck and i can't see anything specific in the conflicts that would cause my woes. I could just ignore the quest but it annoys me not to be able to finish this. It's my first time through. Is there a console command to teleport to that specific interior? If that interior is corrupt for some reason, can i extract just the relevant files from the DVD or something similar? I would have put this in the tech support section but i didn't want to give anything away; please move if this isn't the right place for this question. Thank for your advice! Still, there are worse quests: the one where as a fighter guild newbie, you deliver a shipment of weapons, and then the fighters charge into the enemy ranks without waiting for you and if they die, you are blamed. That just sucked. Why would a newbie be in charge of a squad, especially when oblivion doesn't have the party commands that other games have, that could be used to coordinate the unit. Oblivion's graphics are terrific but Morrowind had better quests IMO. Ah well, i should learn how to make my own ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And i agree with you about that F.Guild mission, it sucks trying to make sure everyone doesn't die, ha ha oh well. Anyways, if you are really interested in learning to make your own quests, you should check out the construction set wiki for oblivion, it has some really cool stuff there that would help. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
