Totallyevil1
Just as the title says, FNIS refuses to see my halo poser in any way shape or form. Yes I am sure I have installed FNIS to the proper location (within the Skyrim data folder) and yes I installed Halo Poser following the readme.txt instructions, using the halo poser data folder to override the Skyrim one. I have also followed all the troubleshooting instructions for the poser readme and have had no results. All of my other animation mods run just fine, no issues at all to speak of. Poser even loads the rings and shows me all the options, but because FNIS refuses to see poser for one reason or another I cannot actually use it to load the files to activate the poses. I am on my 3rd full day of troubleshooting and I'm at my witts end. I need help. As a side note of other things I have done: Yes Skyrim is a fresh install, so is NMM, I did a clean slate install of all of my previous mods, I have 108 mods currently running or set to run and I only have 6 warnings from dirty edits with no errors at all as far as LOOT has informed me. fore
FNIS refuses to find Poser only if you have made a mistake during installation.Post your generator output Check the character/animations folder. In there, do you find a folder "Pinups", for example? In this folder, is there a file FNIS_Pinups_List.txt?
Totallyevil1
http://i.imgur.com/O4Tvq1m.png There is my FNIS output (I think) and I do have a "Halo Pinups" in my animation folder. The FNIS_Pinups_List.txt is also present in this folder.
fore
I need to see the WHOLE generator output, not just the bottom. Copy/paste the text of the generator's output window here. But didn't you notice 5 warnings? Why do you ignore such things?
Totallyevil1
The warnings were telling me that FNIS was not in the data folder, when in fact I had put it there myself so yes I ignored them. They also mentioned that certain animations were not installed, but I do clearly remember installing them repeatedly (uninstall, delete, reinstall, activate) over the last 3 days as I tried to troubleshoot. fore
Whom do you think I believe more. A relatively new user who repeatedly asserts that he has installed everything correct. Or a program which runs in hundred thousands of installations without such issues? :) Now at least you have 2 more mods in your list. But the same way your Pinups is missing, there is a warning for these other 3 mods. For example, do you have a fileY:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\meshes\actors\character\animations\female\Bow_RunForward.hkx ? Can you prove it with a pic of your explorer? Can you prove with a pic of your explorer that Pinups is installed?
Totallyevil1
I'm not necessarily a new user, I just do not post often on the forums. Also I have managed to get FNIS to work flawlessly in the past, just not this latest time. On another note, yes I can prove that it is indeed installed. http://i.imgur.com/4oE8Abb.png Along with 3 FNIS files, all within the skyrim data folder as they should be. As for the bow file...I honestly have no clue. It's not there but it doesn't appear to be causing problems? The animation still happens though. fore
Sorry, but a statement likethe warnings were telling me that FNIS was not in the data folder, when in fact I had put it there myself so yes I ignored them. IS a proof of inexperience. And you don't don't follow precisely what you are asked. I asked you to Check the character/animations folder. In there, do you find a folder "Pinups", for example? All I see is a folder Halo's Posers in Skyrim/Data. Same for FNIS Behavior, FNIS Spells, FNIS Creatures, and many other mods which have no business there. Again, this IS inexperience and NOT FOLLOWING INSTALLATION instructions. Totallyevil1
Inexperience =\= new. Yes I do not mod often, this is probably the largest mod selection I've ever done. Also you asked for proof that the folders and files were indeed installed, which I presented to you. I have followed and dove into every folder you have told me to, taken every step you asked of me and presented proof when you became skeptical. So yes while the mods are in the data folder and that might not be the best case scenario, moving both sets of files there fixed my problem. I followed the install instructions for 3 damn days from multiple sources over many hours and got nowhere. I decided as a hail mary to put them in the data folder as a last ditch effort, which worked in the end. FNIS and Halo now see each other after being placed in the data folder. It appears I have fixed my own problem.
fore
The "proofs" you have presented only have shown installation attempts in a wrong place. From where it NEVER can be found by Skyrim. But ok, as long as things work for you ...
