Parkillous
Maybe the CS doesnt like me... it seems that also whenever I add custom spells the file corrupts itself when I try and edit it again... and the new race doesnt appear in game... This isnt a problem because it just means I have to put in the spells as the very last thing before release, though it was a bit annoying :P
FerretMugger
Hmmm, thats weird i haven't had any problems with corrupt files before. I think we need someone with more experience to help ha ha. Just out of curiosity, how long ago did you download ur version of the CS?

Vagrant0
Re-read the wiki, or change how you're adding them. I've created abilities, powers, lesser powers, spells, and enchantments from scratch without any problems. You don't need to overwrite something already in game, just try adding the spell with a script, or directly to the NPC, and not through race/birthsign. It sounds like your methodology is causing the problem, not anything you may have installed. There hasn't been any new version of the CS since Oblivion came out. There probably won't be even after SI comes out.

Parkillous
Did they say if they were actually adding new features to make it more open ended... or just tweaking the CS...?
