DJPar Posted October 3, 2015 Share Posted October 3, 2015 I have completed everything needed to be Thane of Solitude (including helping 5 people in Solitude). Only left to do is to buy Proudspire Manor. I have the option "I want to buy a home (25,000)" and got the option "I'll take it". After that nothing happens. I don't have the key and none is removed from my money. When I talk to Falk Firebeard again, i still have the option "I want to buy a home (25,000)" and did the same all over again. Nothing happens. I still don't have the key. So I tried to cheat and able to finish the quest (and I have able to to gain Jordis as a housecarl). But when I went to Falk Firebeard to Upgrade, the only option I have is to buy the house again. And did the same thing again and nothing happens. I don't know what to do. And then return. Have not even went to go the horn from Delpien in riverwood. I try going that then going back to Solitude. Alomst seems that solitude is try to catch up.
