mrbobyub Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 I'm using Gimp 2.8 to re-texture .dds files, nifskope to open .nif files, and fomm to extract .bsa files. I can open and modify texture files okay with Gimp and place them in the data folder, but when I open the .nif in nifskope the model is textureless. Files are: Data/textures/creatures/ghoul/ghoulrabid.dds Data/Meshes/Creatures/ghoul/ghoulrabid.nif For NifSkope, I have already gone to Render --> Settings and manually inputted the Fallout New Vegas Data directory. For after I get that figured out, how do I apply the new texture and "new" model in the geck? A little confused about creature modification/creation, so I'd really appreciate any help. ryanjp89 Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Select the mesh that has no texture in NIfskope and look for "NiTexturingProperty" and right click NiSourceTexture and select Texture>ChooseTry applying the texture through that way, and see if that works.
