Huh? He has the actual XP disk. Yeah I got $54, I feel some back breaking work coming this summer. :dry:

They probably will be, but reasonable hardware is always about the same price. as for XP, the disk is useless without a valid, and legal CD key. By the time you get to that point, you'll probably be forced to use vista anyway.

Actually, certain computer-superstores (like "Best Buy" - oh yes, Canada has that too ;) ) might still be selling Win XP, as Vista just came out, and nobody isn't really that fond of switching over just yet (especially when you consider Vista's system requirements). Remember when XP came out? People (including some businesses big and small) were still using Win 98, Win ME, and even Win 95! So XP will still continue to sell somewhat, perhaps more so because Vista isn't selling like hot cakes. And people aren't willing just yet to shell out another couple Gs or so for a new comp, when their's are just fine as is for the time being ;) .
