Martin Septim bug

Okay, I'll make this short and to the point since I'm extremely frustrated right now >.<

I got to the part where you have to escort Martin to the Imperial City so he can relight the dragonfires and whatever. BUT everytime I enter the city with Martin all the guards in the area run over and try to kill him!

I'm thinking Martin may have collected some small bounty due to the awesomeness of radianet AI but I have no idea how to fix this. Someone please help. I'm so close to beating the game but this stupid bug is ruining everything!! >:(

Better question is to figure out why they're attacking him, and fix that. Do you have any mods running, namely uncommon ones that may have built in flaws? It isn't crime, NPCs can't commit any crimes, there isn't any radiant AI, it was removed because it kept breaking the game. It would have to be disposition related, again, check your mods, also try to remember if you did anything dealing with disposition. Are you even sure they're attacking him, and not you (he's just reacting to them attacking you)?

If you have high enough alteration, you might want to try using a spell of invisibility to find out who they're attacking.

NPCs can commit crime how else do you explain the fact that if you really piss someone off they attack you and the the guards get all angry and start stabbing the misscreant

Um, Invisibility is in school of Illusion.

Other than that, you could *awesome idea* tell martin to stay somewhere, while you kill of the guards, then with console set yourself free of bounty, and then lead Martin to the Palace.

*Note that when Dagon attacks, there will be no guards to help..... Hah*
