Trying to make a standalone follower

Hi everyone,

Since yesterday I'm trying to make a standalone follower of one of my presets. So to do that I've followed (haha ...) the tutorial of Choco2114 : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69797/?

Fortunately my Ck didn't crash during the process, that makes it really more easy than usual. After some difficulties with NifMerge and the missing dll problem I've been able to merge the Nif files and for the first time of my tries, don't get a ctd at the lauching of Skyrim (Yahoo), but as soon as I use a command to place the NPC next to me or when I enter in the cell I've placed him the devil CTD come.

So, honestly I've don't know why, I'm using a custom race, with custom eyes that are not from the race and custom hairs not coming from the last two mods, I know it is adding more difficulties, but not at that point.

If anyone could help me about that, I thank him in advance. I add a link of the mod, I think that i will more easy to understand from it than from me, and maybe more clear.

But in a few words :

- I've copied all the files used by the custom race, and some others to be sure.

- I've copied all the files of the eyes/hairs/brows.

- Duplicated the textures set, parts etc... and given theym new ids, but also linked everything, so everything is clear, i've double checked that.

- Created a new race copied from the old one, added the new parts.

- Duplicated an NPC (Marcurio from Riften), and linked everything again to the npc from the parts and race with the proper modifications to the npc values.

- And took a beautiful CTD.

Thank you for your attention and your time.

(And sorry for my english)

He didn't crash for me when I went into the Bee and Barb, but I saw some issues:

1. You have dependencies on a number of mods in the esp, so if this was meant to be standalone, it won't be. There is no reason for this, as you are including the assets from what I see. You can remove the dependencies with TES5Edit.

2. You should copy all the included assets into a separate folder so you don't do overwriting of a bunch of existing mods (i.e. ningheim, apachii, etc, etc.)

3. His head and body are two completely different colors, head has a brownish tint, body is reddish in tone. This can mean a couple of things - either the facegen parts aren't matching what the esp file says they are named, or you have a mismatch between the tinting in the facegen file and the body (both of which is what the ctrl-F4 thing in the CK does for you, or you can do it manually in TES5Edit/Nifskope).

FWIW your mod checks clean in TES5Edit, no ITM or undeleted records.
