PerMa + Black Screen = ?

I just reinstalled PerMa from a clean save of Skyrim and have all the necessary patches (including PaMa). When I start up the game however, I just get the launch screen with the dragon logo and that's it. No smoke, no menu, nothing. Here is my load order:

I'm a NUB at modding but Gophers videos are pretty good ... at least until someone with way more experience jumps in.
