Random CTD's.

This has been happening for awhile but now it's gotten annoying.

Sometimes the game CTD's for what seems like no reason. Usually when entering or leaving cells/loading saves.

Also, every weather mod OTHER than TAZ_Lighting are disabled.

Help would be appreciated.

I've checked Loot/Mod Organizer and neither helped pinpoint the issue, I've tried removing various mods and playing without them but there's just so many.

Your load order isnt the worst but its not great by any means. For starts, why are you using NLA with ELFX and Taz lighting? And where are other ELFX plugins?

 

Some advice though, never use autosave and quicksaves. They will break after some time, maybe earlier maybe later.

 

Loading screen crashes and saves indicate bad conflicts as well as other things. In the end you will try everything to solve your ctd but until you learn how to use tesvedit and fix conflicts by hand, youll never have a good time. Unless you just use a small amount of mods that you know hardly conflict.

Here I was hoping the problem would be as simple as "Oh, that one mod is causing it, remove that."

With the amount of mods I have I think it's time to just start over and avoid conflicting mods and start trying to figure out tesvedit.

For future reference, you said autosaves are a bad idea, I'm thinking of installing the AutoSave manager mod, would that be a better move or a worse one?

If the manager somehow only uses full saves in place of autosaves and just calls them autosaves then its great but if not then no. It can be annoying having to open menu and save all the time, but at least you know youve avoided all the potential problems youd get with as and qs.

 

Most of your mods are item type mods. You might wanna look at tesvedit before scrapping everything, you might find some relatively simple conflicts.
