Talos Cult

Wow. Didn't know that.

It reminds you of the anciently widespread pagan custom of monarch deification. Pretty fertile soil for absolutism, if you ask me. At least a 'human' king has to deal with an aristocracy and clergy as important as him (in theory).

 .... Umm, well, I didn't know Imperial alchemists had a particular need for Nitrogen.

Anyhow, I firmly believe the proper de-nitrification of the king is essential. It is simply a crime to let all that Royal Nitrate go to waste. In fact, with all those Ancestral Tombs lying around, I'm surprised Bethesda didn't include the 'de-nitrifyer' class.

Anyway, about the Talos Cult, is it the one responsible for the reported massacre at the Imperial City? Does it believe in the doppelganger theory?

Okay, we're back on topic.

SPOILERS!!

The Talos Cult in Gnisis are bad dudes. They're planning to assassinate the Emperor when he visits Vvardenfell ... so clue in, plot people. The Emperor has to visit Morrowind in TES IV.

You have to find evidence of this plot for that guy in Gnisis, the Imperial General or some such. He's far too concerned with fashion.

I don't know if that lends credence to the doppelganger theory or not. I believe that the Talos Cult is mainly concerned with returning the throne to a strong emperor, preferably one of their own people.

SPOILERS!
