Balladeer Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Geralt wears this nice, utilitarian single-blade full tang knife that so far I've only see him use in mini cutscenes to field dress his monster kills to get his trophies. Some outfits he wears openly shows this knife as well as its on his saddle bags sometimes. It would be nice to be able to actually use this knife in game similar to how clubs and black jacks are used.
Nenlaw Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I dont think thats possible atm,i dont even think a model for a Knife exists other then in a belt. You never see any npcs fight with one as well.So to do so we would need to be able to put in new items / animations (optional) which as far as i know is not possible with the tools given right now.
Eferas Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Fighting with a knife it's not possible, unless the devs add it in a future patch or expansion. But it's possible to wear one as an accessorie, thanks to the AMM mod http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/780/? The mod adds 3 wearable knifes, the last two comes also with bags (the bags can the deleted with the optional file, so you use only the knife).
