QPHY1EQUALS1FUTURE
SMPD, Or Save My Progress Damnit! As far as I know with the limited knowledge I have, the console can pretty much restore most if not all of your characters progress.Provided you know what to set (And what Quest Progresses you need to enable). I'm thinking about a tool that actively writes down your characters progress every 10 minutes or so (make it customizable)It will record your progress, and translate it into a txt file containing sections with console commands. On character creation (Supporting both the helgen and things like Live another Life), it will save a preset of your character that you trough sheer force of pain created with those sliders and options, for you to use when recreating your character. Like:[Character Stats]Command to set level hereCommand to set skill hereCommand to set skill here.[Quest Progress]Command to progress questOther commands neccesary to move NPC's to where they need to be.[Weather commands]Command to set weather. Etc etc. This could be hugely beneficial if you encounter something that could corrupt your saves. Or even worse, that perhaps your current save has been leading up to a corruption. It could also be beneficial for when you need to rule out which mod is making your save go crazy, but you can't delete the mod directly as your save could get all kinds of messed up (and you in turn loosing your character and progress). The 10 minute check is only for schedules, weather, non-quest related things, non-respawnable npc's that have died. Things it would check in real time: When you level up. What items you have in your inventory. Each time you progress in a quest in some form. Would this be doable? EDIT: Saw that you could actually run a bat file in the console. Save the commands to a bat file instead?
