Valer927 Posted March 30, 2007 Share Posted March 30, 2007 I like the idea of having a necromancer as my character, but there really isn't a great selection of spells and clothes. For clothes I'd like something better than just a black robe with a picture on it, I'd like something from say Diablo 2. The armor in there and in the books make me think a necromancer should be way cooler than the ones in Oblivion. If someone would be willing to try and make something cool or could direct me to a link that has cool gear for a Necro that would be just grand, thanks. :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sypron Posted March 30, 2007 Share Posted March 30, 2007 Sorry, I can't provide a link but I know of a great Necromancer mod. Its called "The Lich Mod" and you can find it at TES Source. Another mod worth looking for on the same site is Unnatural aura. although it is not specific to necros, it adds some call effects (like make your char look like a ghost). They claim it's an open ended game, but there isn't much to do for us evil characters. Necromancer: We can wear a robe, summon undead, reserrect npcs with the staff of worms, and kill mages guild members...that's it.Deadra Worship: We can wear a robe, summon deadra, do the daedric quests, and kill everyone else...a little bit more, but still not a lot.Mythic Dawn: We can wear a robe and kill people...not much.That is why I love mods like Servant of the Dawn. You can actually join the mythic dawn. Their game isn't open ended. It is very much one sided.Overall, Bethesda is full of evil-hating hypocrites. As for this problem, I'm not sure. There were many good Necromancer mods for Morrowind(Fligerty's Revenant mod comes to mind), but there aren't any for Oblivion, which is sad. However, in due time someone might make one.
