Problems With a mod.

First off, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but I've left a comment on the mods page and I PMed the author and I've gotten no response so far.

I downloaded the five parts of the LoRises Cyrodiil Complete retexture pack. I reinstalled Oblivion and patched it to 1.2. Now when I go into the game all the textures are screwy, not purple as in the textures are missing. But it looks like there's no lighting (The beginner dungeon was bright as day) and there's very little color. Also, the stalagmites are translucent. Not to mention the textures still look blurry when set to small. They only look normal on large, so I know somethings not right. I followed the instructions on installing the mods, except for the part about updating the Archive Invalidation file. Because I just reinstalled Oblivion I don't have one, and I'm not sure what to put in the file. (no readme)

Has anyone here tried this mod, and if so can they offer some suggestions for me to fix my game?

What happens if you revert to 1.1?

Ok, I just re installed Oblivion, and I'm going to try these mods without patching the game first. I'm still unsure what I need to put in the Archive Invalidation text file, the only other mod that I've used that requires one is Eshme's V3. And the mods readme told me what to add.

Sorry for the double post/bump, but I'm still having some issues with the mod. I found a list of the filenames and paths in the OMOD's info page, and I copied them to the ArchiveInvalidation file. But I get missing textures and CTD's. I'm going to try extracting all the files in the OMOD's and install them manually.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd still love to hear them.

Thanks.
