zcchaeus
It would be pretty chill if Sibbi Black-briar was released; of course, you would may need to finish the quests relating to him, but-- After, he could be available for marriage. It would probably be more complex, but-- My reasoning: I recently downloaded a mod which allows for the Dragonborn to have their own biological children without it being sexual. While experimenting, I may have accidently gotten my poor, low level, homeless (and spouseless) character pregnant with Brynolf's child. Now, thanks to other mods that create a realistic economy, I cannot afford to sleep at even the inn, nor can I buy I home. I do not feel safe enough to move away from Riften, and it is to expensive to pay for a cart ride let alone a horse. I do not want to steal excessively because I am too low a level to deal well with hired thugs-- Basically, my character is screwed. However, if I were able to marry Sibbi, I could move myself into the Black Briar household. If a mod allowed for a steady 'allowance' of riches, and expansion of their mansion to allow for children's rooms, then my character would not suffer from struggling to raise a bastard child. Instead, she would be rich, powerful, and the kid would have a home. Also, once the child grew into adulthood, they could become a thief because of its father's legacy and the family connections. All is well that ends well, right? Except, it has not yet ended well. I feel as if it is a wonderful solution. Also, who wouldn't love a quest series that enabled the Dragonborn to join one of the most powerful families in all of Skyrim? My primary reasoning is that I have come to love my unborn virtual child-- At the very least, I would feel guilty for deleting the pregnancy (which is an option), and I don't want to kill the child as soon as it is born. This is also an option! I mean, it happened during the 16th and 17th centuries in Europe? It was not considered a good thing, but it happened! It probably happens in Skyrim, too. But yeah. daventry
I find it strange that Sibbi Black Briar still remains in Jail after 8 In-Game Months, so its either a Bug or something that could be turned into a Mod, because Bethesda never gave further Story to him.I cant really agree with you, because you are missing the point of the Quest and Sibbi A Mod should be made for after 8 Months, he should hang around Maven Black Briars House until you tell him about his Fiance where he should either go kill Her in Iverstead and then he's back in Riften Jail for Life, or you tell him she is in Morrowind where he Disappears from the Game Forever. Theres no inbetween Besides, Riften is so corrupted, theres a Mod to Kill Maven Black Briar Edited October 25, 2015 by daventry
zcchaeus
Oh no, I understand the point. I just do not like it. At all. See, I figure that he would learn his lesson to the point where if he kills her, he won't get caught. I mean, the Dragonborn can kill the majority of people in the game and yet there is no lifetime sentence in jail! But when the powerful son of a Black-Briar murders a basic peasant, then he is threatened with serious jail time. It honestly ruins immersion. The point is, he should marry me. I would rather a more official sort of mod for that, as last time I married someone not on the list, they kept bugging out and going back to their home. Damn it, Sapphire. We were so happy together!
