SMB92
Its a pity that the game had to be this way. Just try to get rid of all the unecessary mods you can live without. I know that can probably amount to 1 mod sometimes XD
AlcoholicLuigi
Getting rid of the HD clothing textures makes me sad, but is doable. I would totally be willing to get rid of Enhanced Lighting and FX, except for one thing. It makes doing stealth stuff actually doable for me. SkyRe makes stealth much more difficult, but it also makes sticking to the shadows much more useful. ELFX actually makes there be a lot of shadows you can stick to :P
SMB92
ELFX is fine on its own, ENB is what will tax the frames with ELFX. I wouldnt get rid of it. Let me have a look at your LO again Okay get rid of sexlab and associated mods, they are script hell apparently. Ditch Skyre and just kryptopyrs mods, ie Crafting overhaul and sneak skills rebalance. Im going to go post an example load order for you when i get back on the pc, so you can attempt to sort your mods better.
AlcoholicLuigi
Yeah, nope! SkyRe is totally a vital mod. I know the sexlab mods are script heavy, some of them anyway. I go back and forth about those, but I'm honestly more likely to give up supreme storms and climates of tamriel than I am to give up any of those. I do grant that this means I'll have crashes more often. I can deal with the occasional crash. It's when it's happening every five minutes that it gets annoying. Removing the HD clothing textures has helped somewhat, as well, though.

AlcoholicLuigi
Yeah, I do see tha tyou have a good fifty less mods than I do. I am looking to see what I can get rid of. It's just not gonna be (most of) the SexLab mods or SkyRe. I like SkyRe way too much. Is it any mods at all that will help? Or do mods like The Honored Dead (which litters the world with the aftermath of civil war battles, I.E. corpses and what not) not do anything to the parts that are causing Skyrim to drag? SMB92
Mods like honored dead do contribue to the problem because in your case you want to decreade the amount of objects loading into scenes. Behind those 150 esps you see in my LO are probably another 100 graphical mods for various things. This is what i call my "base" LO and i build on it from there. Each time i add a new mod or even a few, i run into tesvedit and patch it up
AlcoholicLuigi
Alrighty. I can probably get rid of honored dead without any upset, and a few other mods like that besides.
SMB92
Its always gonna be a hard choice :/ I hate limits, thats why I forked over 1000s for decent hardware. Cos of bloody Skyrim and OCD. Lmao Edit - to answer your above question a bit better, its not necessarily the amount of esps you have, its simply objects and scripts you gotta cut down on. Objects mean more memory usage especially with hd textures and scripts, well that speaks for itself in this game.
AlcoholicLuigi
Hey, it's not like my rig is *cheap*, exactly! This is a thousand dollar laptop I'm on! That said, part of this is that I'm now trying all these graphical enhancement mods. If I got rid of all of them, I'd probably be just fine, much like I am on my old laptop. O fcourse, on my old laptop, I played on low graphical settings and without any kind of lighting, texture, or graphical modifications. I figured it looked pretty enough. And it *did*, but...well, not in comparison to how this s#*! looks on Ultra with all these enhancements! :P
