charwo
I'm using FOMM, and it was working great for a while unpacking mods, and then suddenly it started freezing up and now it quickly saysA problem has occurred during install:This file exists The mod was not installed There are a couple of mods, like MCM that require a Fomod unpacker, so how do I fix this issue? Thenryb
Try cleaning out your temporary folder. Also, you will probably want to use the FOMM fork rather than the original version.
charwo
I got the Fork, it seems to run. As to temporary folder, you mean temporary internet files? I deleted them. No luck.
Thenryb
Do the start command and search for %temp% and see if that does not come up with a folder with tons of files. Maybe that is what you already did.
charwo
That did it. Temporary Internet Files: 152 mb, Temporary files in the Apps folder 28 GB. HTF! But it did the trick. I owe you.
Thenryb
I thought that might help-ordinary disk cleanup tool does not seem to touch that folder, plus it is not that easy to find if you try to do it manually. FOMM seems to use that folder for reasons I do not understand.
