njadmin
Hi all, new here.I just moved my PS3 save to my PC to have some fun. So far it's been great. I have run into an issue though. On the PS3 I created some enchanted item with the potion cheat. Now everytime I scroll past these in the inventory they crash the game to the desktop. Is there are way to get around this without just removing everything and starting over. I tried to drop everything in a chest but I can't scroll past to get my other stuff. These items are crazy enchanted too, like 16576514768% damage increase with signle hand weapons. Thanks
SMB92
Lol never heard of a ps3 save port before. You might try save game cleaner, but i have no idea what kind of damage has been sone to that save, and as it would seem, neither do you. Could be great FAIK, but lol never heard of it. njadmin
The funny thing is I'm wearing the item that are causing the crash. I can use them but I can't look at them in the inventory. I have a few pieces like this, one is for bows (causes one hit kills on everything LOL). I'll see if I can find a save cleaner
sLoPpYdOtBiGhOlE
Ways you could remove the item from your inventory.Put any items you want to keep in a chest somewhere and leave the bs enchant crap in your inventory as is.(I know not easy to remove other items to chest while avoiding the crash items)then open the console and type:player.removeallitemsHit enter and exit the console...You'll be naked and everything gone (bs enchant crap gone).Jacking your enchanted items that high only causes crashes due to making the engine dump while trying to calculate efffects and damages as the numbers exceed the buffer size, not to mention it's taxing on the engine when other stuff is going on in combat or around highly populated areas where lots of stuff going on.I use to use the Alchemy restoration exploit to spoof my restoration potions up, then make and enchant stronger alchemy enchantments on 4 bits of armor/jewelery.Rinse lather repeat and before long you got overkill enchanted gear that if pushed to far crashes the game.Instead of all the whoo haa, it's just as easy to paste something like this into a txt file in your skyrim directory. player.modav enchanting 10000 ; silver ring enchant smithing playerenchantobject 3b97c 109632 7A102 player.modav enchanting -10000use the console to run the txt file and it creates an overpowered ring that has 2 enchantments:Enchanting and Smithing.Put the ring on when you smith or enchant to make overkill gear.Change the 10000 and -10000 to higher or lower amounts for stronger or weaker rings. You can find a happy balance that gives you an edge but doesn't break the game randomly.
