nemeyeth Posted October 26, 2015 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Hi guys. I've recently edited some textures in PS but when they reflect light the textures look like plastic. Everything that I edited looks like painted white model, not textured. Something wrong with normalmaps? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ScrollThief84 Posted October 26, 2015 Share Posted October 26, 2015 From what you describe, it sounds like you need to turn off the specular flag of your models in NifSkope. To do this, open up NifSkope, go to your BSLightingShaderProperty, highlight it, now, look down to the bottom of the NifSkope window where it says Block Details. Once you navigate to this box, scroll down until you find "Shader Flags 1". Double click in the box to the right where all the flags are listed, now use the down arrow that shows in the list. It will be at the very end of the flag list on the right once you double click. Now scroll down the list until you find "SLSF1_Specular" and uncheck it. I hope this fixes your problem...
