Shurtugal08
I'm not exactly sure where to post this as it isn't really NMM specific. So if this is in the wrong place, I aplogize in advance. Anyways I am trying to download from the nexus site mods that don't have the option to be downloaded with the manager. An example being ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52248/? ). Whenever I try to download a file my connection interrupts. The symptoms that occur are like that of getting dosed. I am still connected to the internet for all intents and purposes, but sites take a long time to load. This occurs for up to some minutes then my connection is regained and the file has obviously failed to download. I can download from other sites just fine. I am unsure if this issue occurs in NMM itself but seeing as I have been able to download stuff on it just fine and the issue showed itself as soon as I came accross the mod above, I imagine that NMM is fine when downloading. The downloads do start and may continue to download for a minute or two before I get the connection problems. I am using Cyberfox(firefox alternative). I also tested in Microsoft Edge and the issue occurs there as well. If anyone knows anything regarding this issue please let me know. This is frustrating as I want to try out this mod but I am unable to download it. SirSalami
Hi Shurtugal08. Sorry to hear about your problem, but this is indeed a good place to post, thanks. Something to try would be to change your "Favorite download location" and "File download method" options in your Nexus user preferences. Hope this helps! Shurtugal08
Hi Shurtugal08. Sorry to hear about your problem, but this is indeed a good place to post, thanks. Something to try would be to change your "Favorite download location" and "File download method" options in your Nexus user preferences. Hope this helps!Unfortunately I cannot do this because I am not a premium user. The selection other than the default are listed as premium and unselectable. Edit: Also changing the method does not seem to help matters. Edited October 29, 2015 by Shurtugal08
