smartyads getting block trying to get chrome to send outgoing via ports

after verify no virus or maleware testing and scanning with windows, sas, zonealarm, avg, and stuff and knowing I had a clean PC, recently I had a few html pages lock up and some redirect my html to other sites. so I turned on my malewarebytes and seen something worth saying.

I have no toolbar addons or browser crap added, I hate them things, lol

example: I might want to try a mod, and have to open a few dependent tabs for other mods.

previous, nexus mod page just flickers like trying to reload real fast, or locks up, or was redirected. (after a few ad cycles on an idle page)

with malewarebytes running seems when the adchoice videos is done and tries to reload a new ad. that is when all is fine or I get outgoing port blocks from my PC to Smartyads, what smartyads has to do with how adchoice shows them I am not sure.

I am just glad redirect and locked up pages have stopped.

 

Example on my screen domain n1.smartyads.com , 88.214.193.206 trying to get my PC to use port 53438 to send outbound info was stopped. via process c:\program Files\.....\chrome.exe

I stopped malewarebytes from running for a little while and would getting a page lock up or one redirect ad popped up. So I also tried parking on another website with adchoice but did not get any blocks or warnings. (like let the page idle for 10 minutes and let the ads refresh on their own, I would get a redirect after like 8-10 minutes or a locked up page and internet)

I am not fast enough to tell which ads being shown is the cause each time on ending or the start of a new video ad.

 

but for now I have to leave malewarebytes up from getting pages messed up. I know in "G" adsense I am able to block some ads from showing up on my other sites that did grab flash and scripts from outside sites to run, but not sure if you have that option with adchoice if there might be one or two bad ads not compliant? not sure, just letting you know.

 

noted it made me mad a few times locking up my download too many times on a big one, so maybe that might be an issue too, since maleware blocks those outbound smartyads I never had a half downloaded mod since I have malewarebytes autoblocking outgoing info to smartyads via various ports.!

edit: example others have got "hxxp://s-----ads.com/sa.js?id=1323" such JS can time out and redirect and or js can be written to gather PC info even when not allowed. the only way to know is load that sites JS and read the code step by step what they are trying to get or just tell them stop the JS unless your visitor click their ads to their site then they can run JS code own ther own sites.

 

Example if smartyads might be trying to do good but even I wrote my own asp xml ad code and seen if you let outside ads pick and choose what they want to display on your site they can even run code from a 3rd or 4th party to display the ads on yur site. and if a 3rd or 4th party injects flash or js code to do other things beside showing an ad and code trace you get stuff like described above.

You might be better using your own code were you give a few 1000 impressions or clicks for real-estate and the people can paste a code on your approval spot, and has to be approved by a staff person each time before it goes live. the safest is ones are gifs, jpg, vids uploaded on your site without an external JS running from another site, and you take control sending them the click redirect. your sites maintain all the stats and views, when the counter goes zero they can purchase another chuck of clicks or impressions.

 

I have a working asp xml self site banner code Google friendly too. but have not converted to my PHP sites yet. just saying I seen that kind of stuff ad sites outsource content control for more various ads and income to look better but loose control not knowing even what their parties are putting in the ads code.

ATM the only video ad for WIX with the tennis players is the one which flags at the start of the video ad each time, and is blocking my PC outbound various port(s) for sending information to smartyads, none of the other ads at this time are causing issues. however I have not been redirect so far with malewarebytes running.

 

I have not had the redirect one or popup html yet for the past 2 days
only seems with malewarebytes OFF, when the wix ad shows my browser would lock up or become real slow, kind of make me think it may have got stuck on a popup or redirect if that is the one not really sure. just odd every warning is 99% on that tennis ad.

 

I am not using ad blockers, local ads in my area show so the local info for your adverts impressions works also.

 

If I was infected it would be many ads, but it is only that one ad at this time, and if you google smartyads.com and redirects you will see that is really not the nice friendly ad vert kind of place.

IMHO seems Adchoice might be outsourcing real estate to outside adverts and those are not on the up an up. But I am sure adchoice does try their best.

 

LAST Input for this post, it was the crest toothpaste the short video, the vid is so short when the wrning block came up, by the time I scroll to the top of the page to see what was playing the wix.com ad started to play. So it is the toothpaste past one, each time that one starts the warning block displays.
