player.additem nickames

Let me paint a picture for you, you really need stimpacks, and you want to add them to your inventory, but you don't remember the item ID. You remember that there's nothing else open, so if you alt-tab your New Vegas will freeze. What do you do? You type in, "player.additem stimpack 10", because you have the player.additem nicknames mod (I'll come up with a better name later).

 

Wouldn't it be great if you could just type in 9mmpistol instead of the long code that almost no one can remember. That's what this mod idea/request is about. It would be very useful for those that like to cheat, but don't have a photographic memory (like me).
