Need help and/or advice with crashes

I use a lot of mods, and they always seem to crash. Right now I am having issues with a quest mod called a mod called Identity Crisis. I believe it is becaise of my other mods. I cannot use FNEdit as it never works, it runs and stops responding after 4-5 seconds. What should I do to keep my mods stable? Please help, the vanilla game is not worth playing..
