damaged attributes

Edit last: My fault. Perhaps a note in mlox, advising that with vampiric hunger 2.4 (patch notes do advise this), the GCD VH patch will give the problems that I described below.

Having a bit of a problem with bonewalkers.

Because I have mods GCD, vampire realism and MCP 2.1 I am unsure of what to expect.

Had a strength value of 99 (in white-boosted by being a vampire) reduce to 83 (still in white boosted) and have been unable to restore. Having read about the forum's I noticed that fortified attributes

cannot be restored unless you remove whatever was fortifiying the attribute-then restore-then replace fortified.

However reading through MCP 2.1 (which I have installed) states that this should no longer be the case?

Vampire realism does not allow you to use shrines (default). However, you can alter the setting so

this is allowed. I did this, and can cast Almsivi Restoration, but it is having no effect to my 83

strength, so I am wondering if GCD is involved in this somehow??

I do have a save before any of this happened, but I would like to know how to manage this problem,

without having to never fight attribute draining enemies with my current mod set up.

Cheers

EDIT: Just to add to this, temporary spell traps which damage attributes (ie Strength Leech) are leaving

permanent damage. When the spell expires, and the little icon disappears, my strength is stays lower.

Edit 2: So its not really the above problem. All negative modifiers to boosted attributes are permanent.

For instance, vampire hunger gives you a negative effect when you are hunger, which is removed when you drink blood again. However, after feeding, the icon disappears but the attributes remain affected.

Even eating raw ingredients is having this effect. Non fortified attributes are fine (they return to normal), its just the fortified ones that are not working correctly.
