LE SkyUI crafting mod fix

My Xbox 360 controller is starting to go faulty. It still partiall works, but the triggers can sometimes "trigger" (no pun intended), swinging my weapon when I don't intend to, and the left bumper is becoming hard to press.

 

So, I've switched to the keyboard & mouse until I can get a replacement.

 

But as I use SkyUI, I'm noticing an extremely aggravating feature when I try to craft items.

 

I have to drag my mouse up to the item I want to craft, click it, then drag my mouse back down to the center of the screen to click "OK" when it asks me to confirm to craft that item.

 

This is most infuriating when I'm trying to mass enchant items to grind my enchanting skill.

 

This is slightly less aggravating when I'm doing alchemy, since I can just spam the F key, but that's lagely due to the fact that there's no confirmation window popping up in Alchemy to confirm to confirm that I want to make that potion. Even if it were, as long as I have a stack of ingredients, I only have to use the mouse to select the stack; unlike smithing and enchanting, I don't have to select new items every time. So even if there was a confirmation window, I could just keep the arrow hovering over the center of the screen and alternate between the F key and the left mouse button. SkyUI itself isn't responsible for that convenience.

 

Also, selling isn't nearly as much of a PitA (read: Pain in the Butt) because I can just spam the "Enter" key. Even when I have to confirm the quantity, I only have to use the mouse when I want to sell fewer than all of my items. That's a sufficiently rare occurence that it's okay.

 

To make large crafting sessions tolerable, I have to temporarily activate the Xbox 360 controller, since the LT and RT triggers aren't used in crafting, and the LB button is only used at the beginning of my crafting session to sort the items, it's a lot less aggravating. When I'm getting ready to smith a bunch of iron daggers or gold rings, I can simply use the L-Stick to hover over the item I want to craft in bulk, and then start spamming the A button. even in enchanting, using the L-stick to go left and right constantly is still less of a PitA than dragging the mouse.

 

Can somebody make an add-on to SkyUI that fixes this issue? Because it's infuriating. the whole point of SkyUI was to make the menu navigation more intuitive for keyboard-and-mouse users, but this seems like a step backwards here.

I'm not sure what your problem is. I have no problem with SkyUI and using the keyboard to navigate the menus, even the popups for multiples, confirmation, or for the enchantment power slider. I use WASD for movement, E to confirm, and TAB to cancel.

I use both and I have no problem spamming keyboard keys to navigate or accept or decline message buttons and dialogue options.
