Early release console versions

To be honest, aside for the leaks online, The sales of the game isn't much for Bethesda to concern themselves about at this point. What's done is done, and it can't be undone. Sometimes people get their deliveries early, other times due to different laws a game store might sell the games early, I guarantee you that the copies of the game are sitting in the back room of gamestop right now. This must be torture for those working there that have the box staring them in the face. I truly don't care if someone half way around the world is already playing the game. I knew that I would have to wait for tomorrow at midnight, and I am still going to. I rather not wait, but I will if I must.

From New Zealand here, at time of writing fallout will release in about 13 hours (Which happens to be 2am in the morning) not sure if this is earlier than anyone else or not. Purchased via steam btw

This has been lightly mentioned in several places scattered around the internet.

As far as I know, trying to spoof an earlier release is against Steam TOS (just as it is trying to launch games which are not available in your region). Some game streaming sites, like Twitch will also still be banning people for playing the game unless they are actually situated in, and are streaming from these regions.

Frankly, I wouldn't take the risk.

Personally I don't mind the wait, I mean I can't sleep, I just roll around counting down the minutes. But so long as I get the game on time when I was told it would be available for me, then I'm happy. I am actually happy to know that it is coming out in other places because this way you know there wont be a delay.

Not me. But yeah, looks like they're enforcing the whole VPN thing.
