LiquidBronze
look to be god awful. Hopefully someone can figure out how to edit the hud and sounds before the geck. For example the cash register sound after every kill, all those pop ups of the pip boy, etc... I just want a health meter, thats it. I am sure there are others that feel similar, ill be looking into this myself as well.
cedaie
Once archive extraction is possible, it'll be a simple case of changing the sound files and editing the GUI files. Those crazy modders usually have archives cracked within the first week.
Bitflip
Sure that's not something you can change in the settings?
LiquidBronze
Sure that's not something you can change in the settings?Someone on the steam forums has it (thier thread is now deleted though, since they were taking questions). He said you cannot disable it in settings (but via console like skyrim etc). If you disable the hud via console it does not get rid of the sounds though, all of that will need to be modded out I guess, unless he just missed the options. Morbide
Replacing a sound file is easy if you know the name of said file. Dunno why you should though, I find the ka-ching very satisfying, especially for sniper shots. Since the seems to be a new archive format (.b2a replacing .bsa) it is unknown if or when the Fallout mod manager can read the archives. Redesigning the HUD will take quite a lot of time. Luckily for me this is the first time that I don't find the vanilla UI to be appalling.
