Realism 4 the better

You bring up very interesting points...They would do well in their own thread. I'm sure several people have made threads silimar to it.

That last statement is a paradox if I ever saw one. Perfection is without risk, and thus, is boring, yet boredum is a downside and, thus, not in a perfect world...

Please, lets not get all philosophical on each other. WE must save that for other forums. In the mean time, thank ninjalord for not gettting hostile on the bird issue and agreeing with me for a change

What is that supposed to mean!? You expect be to be this raging madman just because I disagreed with you a couple times? And now you're telling everyone to expect me to be so? If anything, I'm the opposite; I don't know when to quit joking around. However, in a serious disscusion, I am very serious and blunt. I'm not mean, but I tell it like it is. If you can't handle that, don't post. There will always be people who state the bear truth no matter if someone is offended.

As to be on topic, many people agree that realism doesn't belong in Oblivion even if they don't say so. Just look at the mods out there. We have dozens of mods that add "perfect" bodies into the game or simply "perfectly" beautiful characters in saved games. Those definately aren't realistic, and they are quite popular, meaning that a lot of people don't want realistic people in their games which is the key note in realism in games.

oh, I get it. Most of the time you're like a comedian, but other times you're Don Cherry. Sorry, no offence ment.

Let's see, why was i here? Oh, yes, now i remember.

I was extremely rushed when typing last time, and i meant to say some stuff.

Maybe reality isn't possible sometimes. If Oblivion was more realistic, we would be able to go anywhere in Tamriel. But, no computer can possibly handle that at this time.

And maybe reality isn't always good either. Magic doesn't exist in reality.

But when reality is both possible and good, we must strive for it!!!

Which reminds me.....

I looked at Deadly Reflex 3 the other day, and saw no broken limbs. I'll now go and PM the author about that. toodle doo!!

I have just released my adrenaline mod, it is not full and regretably i have made it with the SI expansion.

i will clean that up and add another feature later, but for now this is what i can give you.

future releases will probably have to wait until i am done celebrating my "russetid" (norwegian fenomena, search wikipedia for an answer....) which is 2 to 3 weeks from now on.

link to my mod : lillekus Adrenaline Mod

you are free to mod it yourself

Edit: on the discussion which is raging here :)

i think what people mean and want when they say reality today, itis the physics they are talking about, like chopping of limbs, or exploding a wall, or bodies falling and breaking bones. it is not the go to work and get kids in kindergarden on my way home reality, we (i think i speak for many at least) want the tiny exaggeration of world physics... plus minus other reality aspects, but still i like it a little bit, only a tiny tad exaggerated, but it depends on where.

lilleku out.

Edit on the edit :)

and the immersiveness, and number of coices or paths one can take. i love the Enhanced Quest Roleplaying mod....

Wow! One of my ideas lead to the creation of a mod! Yay!!! I haven't downloaded it yet, just waiting for the full version. I read the description though, and it's just what I was thinking. Thanks, lilleku!!!

Now, to suggest more stuff......

I was going to suggest more realistic animal behavior, but Oscuro's overhaul already has that....

Oh yes! My craziest idea yet: Not only would there be children, but you would be able to get married, settle down, and have children. You would have to raise them, feed them, take them to school, help them get a job, and teach them to kill.......

Say whatever you want, i won't be hurt, it'll be amusing
