Marcus Wolfe
Either way, the odds of a modder who has the capability of creating the complicated new animations and scripts required putting all the time it would take into adding sex to Oblivion aren't very good. There are plenty of sex-oriented mods and scanty clothing (good grief, that's probably 90% of Growlf's massive output) out there, there just aren't any that depict actual intercourse. Even without visual depictions, an erotic effect can be done through dialogue. I played a few mods for baldur's gate that were rather raunchy and romantic. Sex doesn't have to be of the paris hilton or britney spear's variety. It can be intimate, sweet and perverted all at once. :) The argonian maid tale is a crude version of that but at least it heads in the right direction. The Lusty Argonian Maiden? Oh, don't even go there man. I remember the quest in Morrowind getting that book for that actor. EGH. It's humorus, but still...EGH. It gave me some ugly pictures in my head. Have you considered she was actually polishing his spear, as in the spear you stab people with? If not, then you are messed up in the head. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Listen to Heavy Metal and the Grunge Gods will thank you
Marxist ßastard
I thought strength, intelligence, endurance, etc. were stats?Nope. They're there, but they have no real purpose. The primary indication of how well you do in the game is whether or not you're good at the minigames. If you choose to level up your stats instead of wasting time on the minigames, all your enemies level up with you and the game becomes that much harder. I still remember being in english being told that "country matters" was a reference to the pudendum, and promptly raising my hand because i didn't know if that was something that you sheltered under during a garden party ;D I recall Annah in planescape could be sexy and complicated and more than just eye candy. Not that there's anything i have against eye candy. I just think it's a shame that there's noone writing stories like that for oblivion mods. I guess the dialogue trees might be hard to write. Oblivion seems like more of a console game than an RPG.

yorksherpud
Would it not be wonderful to tweak and tease our real bodies into the shapes we imagine? I would love to look as beautiful to women as they do to me.That's what genetic engineering is for. I think Oblivion is devoid of romance...but I mean romance, not sluts. No sex toys, no pole dancers, ect. However, the kissing on a beach isn't a bad idea. Romance would be nice, but that isn't what this game is about. Oblivion isn't an rpg; it's an action/adventure game. As for the combat outfits, are you blind, or stupid, or both? There are tons of that sorta stuff. I think you meant cosmetic surgery, and I would imagine very few gamers really care about how romantic a game like Oblivion is, if you want adult content or romance buy a girly book or dl some porn! Not to mention the companion mods. I think it is desired but the CS doesn't make characterisation easy. Also the predominace of house mods with flowerpots and flowergardens, and pets to put ibeside you as you sit on your patio admiring your crops. That is romantic, a house, a hearth, a fire for cold feet and food for the table, a sweet chilled beer and lovely spacious beds. Everything in those places screams domesticity, not bachelor pad. Although i would love to see a bachelor pad in oblivion like the one in Family Guy!
SlappyMeats
Although i would love to see a bachelor pad in oblivion like the one in Family Guy!Oh god yes! Quagmire-style, baby! hahaha ;D That'd be slick as hell. You're right, though, any mod that's romantic-natured almost invariably has some downloader asking in a comment "so can you screw em? is it hot coffee? can I see some boobies? SEX!!", only to be answered with 10 comments by everybody else who thinks that content like that is lame and useless in a fantasy game. Romancing of Eyja is one that contains an allusion to booty-gettin', but nothing explicit at all, and that mod has been very well-received for it's significant amount of content and the effort and attention paid to dialogue. All that good stuff.
