Trooperr
Soo apparently Bethesda wants to make fun of us https://www.facebook.com/Fallout.eu/photos/a.304496069748021.1073741827.304494376414857/428015377396089/?type=3&theater
BOTLANNER
This is the first thing I noticed was missing in the game that actually had been in Skyrim. I almost only play in third person so I really need this mod. Sometimes I can't even see what weapon is in my hands and then I have to switch to first person and it pisses me off. Rocopherus
This, would be good to also see a system like the "All geared up" mod for Skyrim. Shame that something like this won't come out until the CK comes out.
notpitdefender
Isnt it due to fact that now we can have different bodytypes, and it would take time and hard wrok do that, and either Zenimax would kill bethesda for never realeasing the game or it owuld be like supperbuggy ? Luckly I like almost never use 3rd person view and my character would look totaly unimerrsive with amount of weapons attached to it, if i was even able to see it form underneath them all lol. Deathstruck
Seriously, this is a very baffling design choice. Whoever came up with this (and whoever approved that) needs to be slapped with a dead carp. Not only pulling guns out of your ass looks terrible, but the worst thing is that it applies to NPCs as well. I had Preston and others "patrol" a perimeter with no weapon whatsoever. You can also no longer make tactical assessment of enemies. If their weapons are holstered, you can't tell if they're dangerous or which one of them should be taken care of first. For a 2015 AAA game I actually expected multiple visible weapons. Some kind of system that would for example track and show 3 of your most used weapons currently in inventory. And clipping? Please, there is no excuse for half-assing something like this since Bethesda has the money, material and manpower to do this and they are amongst the biggest AAA devs in the branch. Yes I know, modding tools will come but I am a little afraid that this "feature" is now hardcoded in the "new" (and I use that term loosely) engine and will require a lot of workaround to get it to work. Unless some of the old code from previous Fallouts remained and it can be switched on back again. But who knows. And yes, Bethesda is literally taunting us at this point. :D Edited November 16, 2015 by Cahir Mawr Dyffryn
Gilibran
Let's just hope it can be modded in, someone like the creator of the Skyrim dual sheath redux mod will hopefully do it. There was alot of good holstered gear created for NV without clipping, and Skyrim to, so it should not have been a problem for Bethesda to put it in from the start.
